This booklet offers the canon & akathist to the icon of the Theotokos "of the Three Hands," along with an account of the miraculous healing of Saint John of Damascus's hand and prayers to the four saints depicted with the Theotokos on the cover -- Saint Tikhon, who was a bishop and missionary in North America before becoming Patriarch of All Russia, Saint John of San Francisco, a miracle-worker who led his flock in exile, Saint John of Damascus, whose hand was healed before the icon of the Virgin Mary and who wrote many of the liturgical hymns used in Orthodox worship, and Saint Job of Pochaev, who defended Orthodoxy against heresy and was the first in Russia to use the printing press.
