Prayer to the Holy Hierarch Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia

O all-holy Nicholas, most excellent favorite of the Lord, our fervent helper and speedy aid in every place amid tribulations! Help me, who am sinful and downcast in this present life. Beseech the Lord God, that He grant me remission of all the sins I have committed from my youth and throughout my life, in deed, word, thought, and with all my senses; and help me at the departure of my soul. Entreat the Lord God, the Author of all creation, to deliver me from the aerial way-stations and from everlasting torment, that I may ever glorify the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and thy merciful intercession, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
