Damascene Press is operated by the Lambertsen Foundation, a non-profit organization founded with the blessing of Metropolitan Hilarion (+2022). The Foundation presently operates with the blessing of Metropolitan Nicholas of New York (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia).

In addition to the publication (online and in print) of liturgical texts and spiritual literature, the Foundation is in the process of developing a complete and freely accessible library of English-language liturgical texts available in electronic format for use by individuals, parishes, and other publishers.

The Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our work is made possible by the sale of our printed publications and contributions from the faithful.
